As a tiny country and a footballing minnow Andorra have limited resources and low recognition in the world of international football. Their identity was inconsistent and dated in appearance and this was a hinderance to boosting their public profile. In order to address this and start the process of moving upwards the Andorran Football Federation (Federació Andorrana De Futbol or FAF) wanted a new crest to appear on the national shirt and ultimately across all of their communications going forward.
I developed a range of creative territories and approaches that could inform this new direction and help the Federation move forwards on its journey. Once a direction had been agreed I then worked the identity through into final logo versions and then produced a brand style guide to set out not just the guidelines of correct usage, but also to inspire a direction for the brand moving forward.
